The Club will provide a recovery timeline in due course.
The news comes following Collingwood’s 25-point loss to Geelong in last night’s Round 21 clash at the MCG.
The loss snapped a six-game winning streak for the Pies, who will finish the round in ninth position as they currently sit 10 premiership points clear of St Kilda ahead of their match-up with Sydney on Saturday afternoon.
Despite the loss, there were many silver linings for Collingwood, with key forward Dan McStay continuing a rich vein of form with a career-best five goals. Doubling as a backup ruck to Darcy Cameron, McStay also laid a career-high nine tackles.
Although the AFL action is aside, there’s still plenty of footy for Pies fans to see over the weekend, with the VFL, VFLW, AFLW and VWFL teams all in action.
