Clark Hunt, the owner of the Kansas City Chiefs, has no plans to interview head coaches in the near future.
Andy Reid is not retiring anytime soon, according to Hunt, who made this statement on Sunday.
In reference to the team’s official transcript, Hunt said, “That has never come up in my interactions with Andy.” I take his statement to mean that he didn’t give the question much thought after it was asked. After a few weeks, the concept sort of took off on its own, to which Andy replied, “No, I’m not thinking about that.” Upon seeing Andy, he remains possesses a lot of vigor and enthusiasm. His only thoughts are on the Kansas City Chiefs and his desire to win another Super Bowl and make it back to the postseason. He is, in my opinion, just as enthusiastic and passionate as he has been for the last ten or more years that he has been with us.
