On Nov 4, 2025 the Red Sox announced they agreed to a one-year deal with Duran to avoid arbitration.
– *Salary*: $7.7M for 2026 + up to $75K in bonuses
– Boston declined his $8M club option, paid him a $100K buyout, then signed this new deal
– He gets $25K bonus at 450 plate appearances, another $25K at 500 PA, and $25K at 550 PA f23e
