A former Hibs and Sheffield United star has seen his seven-figure transfer collapse after an issue highlighted in his medical at an English Championship club.
Harry Clarke joined Hibs on loan from Arsenal after impressing elsewhere in the Premiership with Ross County. His stint was hampered by injury but he impressed during appearances he did make and Clarke was then loaned out to Stoke City. Heโs been permanently with Ipswich Town since 2023, spending time with Sheffield United and Charlton Athletic amid that stint, and a permanent return to Stoke looked on the cards.
That wonโt be happening now, however, as the deal appears to have fallen through at the medical part of the proceedings. According to he former Hibs and Sheffield United man โwas due to make a ยฃ3.5m switch to Championship club Stoke City, however, the move now looks like it may now be off following an issue highlighted at the medical stage.โ
